Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max Price in Pakistan

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max Price

The iPhone 18 Pro Max has officially launched and is available in the first wave of international markets. Apple lists the 256GB model at a starting price of $1,299 in the US, followed by 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options. The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max Price in Pakistan is currently expected to be around Rs. 605000 for the 12GB/256GB configuration, but this figure is not an official Apple Pakistan retail price.

The actual amount paid by Pakistani buyers can vary depending on the imported variant, PTA approval, seller margin, warranty and currency exchange rate. Buyers should therefore check whether a handset is PTA approved and whether it carries an official local warranty before making a purchase.

Storage Choices

Apple has expanded the storage range on the Pro Max, giving buyers four options:

• 256GB
• 512GB
• 1TB
• 2TB

Apple does not provide a microSD card slot, so storage cannot be expanded later. The 2TB version is particularly aimed at users who record large amounts of ProRes, ProRes RAW or high-resolution video.

A Large ProMotion Display for Work and Entertainment

The iPhone 18 Pro Max retains the large 6.9-inch screen size but brings a high-end Super Retina XDR OLED panel with a 2868 x 1320 resolution and 460ppi. ProMotion provides adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz, while the Always-On display and Dynamic Island remain part of the experience.

Apple rates the display at up to 1,000 nits typical brightness, 1,600 nits peak HDR brightness and up to 3,000 nits outdoors. There is also an anti-reflective coating, which can help when viewing the screen in bright surroundings.

Display Features

• 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED
• 2868 x 1320 resolution
• 460ppi
• ProMotion up to 120Hz

• Haptic Touch

The screen is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, while the rear also uses Ceramic Shield material.

The Camera System Gets a Major Change

The iPhone 18 Pro Max introduces a new 48MP Pro Fusion camera system, but the most notable change is not simply the megapixel count. The main 48MP Fusion camera now has a variable aperture, allowing the aperture to change between f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0. This is the first time Apple has brought variable aperture to the iPhone. The variable aperture can automatically adjust for lighting and depth of field, while users can also select aperture settings manually through the Pro camera controls. The main camera uses second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization.

The other two rear cameras are also 48MP sensors. The Fusion Ultra Wide offers a 120-degree field of view, while the Fusion Telephoto uses a tetraprism design and provides 4x optical zoom at 100mm. It can also deliver optical-quality 8x telephoto at 200mm.

Camera Setup

• 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture
• f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0 aperture options
• 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide
• 48MP Fusion Telephoto
• 4x optical telephoto at 100mm
• Optical-quality 8x telephoto at 200mm
• Second-generation sensor-shift OIS
• 3D sensor-shift OIS on telephoto
• LiDAR Scanner
• 48MP macro photography
• ProRAW
• Photographic Styles 3
• Night mode
• Smart HDR 5

The camera can record Dolby Vision video in 4K at up to 120fps using the Fusion Main camera. ProRes recording reaches up to 4K at 120fps when an external recording setup is used. Apple also adds Apple Log 2, Genlock support and improved low-light video capabilities for professional users.

New 18MP Front Camera for Photos and Video Calls

The front camera has also received a substantial upgrade. Apple calls it the 18MP Center Stage camera and gives it autofocus, an f/1.9 aperture and the ability to tap to zoom and rotate the framing.

Center Stage is designed to keep subjects properly framed during video calls, while Dual Capture allows users to record using the front and rear cameras together. The front camera can also record 4K Dolby Vision video at up to 60fps. This makes the front camera more useful beyond ordinary selfies, particularly for video calls, social media content and people who regularly record themselves.

Charging Support

• USB-C wired charging
• Up to 50% in around 15 minutes with a 60W-capable adapter or higher
• MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W
• Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W
• USB-C DisplayPort support
• USB 3 transfer speeds up to 10Gbps

Design, Weight and Durability

The iPhone 18 Pro Max uses an aluminum unibody design with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back. It measures 163.4 x 78.0 x 8.75mm and weighs 249 grams. That makes it a large and relatively heavy phone, something buyers should consider if they prefer a lighter device. Apple offers the phone in four colors:

• Black
• Silver
• Glacier
• The new Burgundy

The Action button and Camera Control remain available on the side, giving users quick access to controls and camera functions.

The phone carries an IP68 rating and is rated for submersion up to 6 metres for as long as 30 minutes under Apple's stated laboratory conditions. Water resistance can decrease with normal wear, so it should not be treated as permanent waterproofing.

Connectivity and Everyday Features

The iPhone 18 Pro Max supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Apple has also introduced its N1 wireless networking chip and C2 cellular modem system in the Pro models. NFC, second-generation Ultra Wideband and Thread networking are included as well.

• 5G connectivity
• Wi-Fi 7
• Bluetooth 6
• NFC
• Thread networking
• Second-generation Ultra Wideband
• USB-C
• Face ID
• LiDAR Scanner
• Stereo speakers
• Action button
• Camera Control
• MagSafe

The SIM setup depends on the market. Apple's US specification uses dual eSIM, while other regional models can have different SIM configurations. Pakistani buyers importing a unit should check the exact model number and SIM configuration before purchasing.
