As American technoloy giant Apple is close to the
launch of its first device of this year, a new report claims that the
firm will use the same 8-megapixel camera for iPhone 5S.
It seems to be Apple going towards the back foot before the launch of
iPhone 6. The budged iPhone 5S has a lot in common with the iPhone 5.

We know the low-cost iPhone is coming in September. We have also seen
multiple leaked images claiming to show Apple’s budget iPhone.
We still have no concrete evidence on what Apple plans on calling the
handset, but it has been referred to as budget iPhone, low-cost iPhone,
and most recently iPhone 5C.
The device is expected to be significantly cheaper than Apple’s usual
pricing for its flagship iPhone, but a new leak suggests that it seems
to have more in common with the iPhone 5.
A new report claims that the iPhone 5C will be very similar to the
iPhone 5, more so than the lower-priced iPhone 4S.

The smartphone will use the same 4-inch Retina display found on the
iPhone 5 and a leaked image of the camera used in the iPhone 5C
reportedly shows the same sapphire crystal-covered camera used in the
iPhone 5.
To keep costs down, Apple has ditched aluminum for polycarbonate. The
smartphone is expected to come in multiple colors, similar to the iPod
touch and iPod nano. It will also be a little taller and thicker than
the iPhone 5 due to its polycarbonate case. It is believed that Apple
might replace the iPhone 5 with the iPhone 5C and use the same parts so
it does not have to source new materials to build the handset.
The iPhone 5C is expected to be priced between $450 and $550. It is
estimated that those prices would become lower with carrier subsidies,
and would drop to $99 and below.

It seems that Apple is going to follow the growing trend of focusing on
the cameras inside its smartphones. The iPhone 5S is expected to include
a 12-megapixel camera with a dual-LED flash and improved low-light
photography.
If the rumors are true, its mid-range and possibly $99 smartphone will
include a high-end 8-megapixel camera, which is unheard of in that price
range. We’ll have to wait and see how this pans out. It’s always best to
take all Apple rumors with a big grain of salt.
