The Cupertino Company took an action against this problem and temporarily disabled the feature of Apple Group Face Time.

A Twitter user with screen-name MGT7 tweeted at Apple Support on January 20 which stated the same flaw about the privacy bug and security flaw in Apple's iOS that allowed a teenager to eavesdrop on iPhone and iPad without approval, much similar to the teenager’s discovery.

The user on Tuesday was identified as Arizona-based lawyer Michele Thompson, in a CNET report, which also revealed that Thompson's 14-year-old son claimed to have originally discovered the bug on January 19, while making a group call on Face Time with his friends to talk about Fortnite.

The report also adds that the emails and messages of the mother of that teenager and her warnings to the people before the privacy bug became public.

Tech entrepreneur John Meyer, who has been in contact with Michele Thompson, shared the emails and screenshots of the videos that the lady made to explain the problem, A report says that Thomson did not receive any replies to her initial emails from Apple and it was only answered after a formal email which was sent to Apple detailing the bug and carrying a link to unlisted YouTube video with increasing amount of the problem that the Cupertino-based company responded. The response, however, wasn't of much help as it asked Thompson to file an official bug report.

Apple Company has seemed not to be informed about the issue till Monday night. The company hasn’t still released a statement about Thompson’s claims.

Apple Company has claimed that they are working for a similar issue on the set of iOS devices running version 12.1 and it will be released with a software update later this week. Till then, the company has disabled the Apple Group Face Time feature but the one-on-one Face Time calls remain working.
