As we move towards a technology driven world, we see tech innovation being used to break down barriers and help ease the burdens of ordinary life. In light of this, Tecno Mobile Pakistan has set itself apart and vouched to utilize its state of the art technology to help orphan children in Pakistan. |

The Tecno Blue Chalk campaign is a multilayered project through which Tecno will be providing monetary donations to the orphanage so that the orphan children can be equipped with the best textbook and stationary resources. Along with this, Tecno has also pledged to donate a portion of its profits from each handset that is sold in Pakistan. |

The welfare organization which has orphanages across Pakistan was delighted by the support given to them. Khubaib Foundation’s Chairman Nadeem Ahmad heartedly thanked Creek MA, the CEO of Tecno Mobile Pakistan and expressed his sincere gratitude for the donations and support. Creek MA was humbled by the appreciation and talked about his company’s dedication in helping orphan children to not feel disadvantaged because of lack of resources. He emphasized that “no child should be left behind” and that this campaign is just the beginning of Tecno’s long term goal of supporting orphans in Pakistan to receive the best education possible.

The standard of education in Pakistan is lowest as per the South Asian region. Among the limitations to quality education are lack of textbooks, clean water and basic infrastructure for schools. Other obstacles include lack of facilities in rural areas for the education of girls and the issue of students dropping out due to poverty. Mindful of these challenges and many others faced by orphans, Tecno Mobile has set out to focus on education in order to uplift the children. Orphans are the most vulnerable in any community and so by launching an initiative specifically for them Tecno Mobile has taken a noteworthy step towards improving society. The event launching Tecno’s CSR campaign was held in Haripur and was attended by more than 1000 children from different campuses of Khubaib Foundation. The children showcased their excitement and joy through singing songs, performance of a traditional tableau and by showing their skills in Tækwondo. Following the launch of the campaign, the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi hosted a special iftar for the orphans at the President House in Islamabad. The iftar dinner was attended by government officials, Khubaib Foundation’s chairman Nadeem Ahmad, Creek MA and the Tecno Mobile team along with other leaders and stakeholders from the education and business sectors.

Speaking to the media, Creek MA expressed his delight in meeting the President of Pakistan. He also talked about his company’s commitment to continue their support for the youth of Pakistan. The Tecno Blue Chalk campaign is just the beginning of more education based CSR projects to come from Tecno Mobile Pakistan.
