Nokia has
a legacy of making durable phones like Nokia 3310 in the past. It used
to be all the rage once upon a time. The fame of
Nokia 3310 was due to its immense durability and indestructibleness.
This concept of making durable phones was carried by Nokia in the future
with their Lumia series particularly,
Nokia 920, and
Nokia 520. Both devices are considered to be toughest among others;
especially Nokia 520 is powerful enough for stopping the bullet.
And now it seems that Nokia’s newest will soon be joining in the ranks
of the most durable phones ever in recent memory.
Nokia 6 Durability Test
The legacy of durable phones is continued with Nokia 6. In a recent
video released by the You Tuber JerryRigEverything, the Nokia 6’s
durability was tested. The YouTuber in the video is the same person who
tested the most controversial phone Note 7’s screen back in 2016, which
scratched rather easily.
As for the Nokia 6, it was bent, scratched and even burnt in the
be-all-end-all durability testing. The following tests put the
credibility of the phone at stake and it was extremely torturous. Watch
at your own risk.

The phone holds up pretty well to bend and burn tests but it scratched
easily on the sides and the back due to its metal aluminum build. (Nokia
advertises that the phone was built from a single block of 6000 series
aluminum.
JerryRigEverything unfortunately didn’t do a drop test for
Nokia 6, so nothing can be claimed for this feature now. Still, the
phone seems to be pretty sturdy and can take some punishment.
Record Sale in Minutes
Nokia 6 is recently released in China and it broke the records and was
sold out in a minute. There are more than 1 million pre-orders received
for the device after its first announcement in China. Afterwards the
company showcased the device with its lower end siblings,
Nokia 3 and
Nokia 5 at the Mobile World Congress 2017.
The launch of Nokia 6 worldwide is expected soon. There are no updates
about its release date in Pakistan for now. |
