Huawei Mate 20 Benchmark Scores Leaked, Huawei Mate 20X Gaming Phone Launch Set for October 16

Huawei is all ready to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on 16th October in London. There have been several leaks about the upcoming devices; however, according to the bench mark spotting claims of latest Mate 20, it is regarded as the highest scoring Android phone to date.

There is a confirmation from Huawei over the launch of Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20X on 16th October 2018.

The Huawei Mate 20X is categorized as a gaming phone. According to the teaser, the device will come with powerful innards to resist intense gaming sessions, equipped with massive battery life.


Huawei has confirmed the news of launching gaming variant Huawei Mate 20X. As the name suggests, the device is made for the gaming enthusiast and fans. The tweets about the phone also claims that the device does not heat up and stay cool even after hours of gaming. Other details on this smart phone are limited at the moment.

According to news on AnTuTu on its benchmark site notes the Huawei Mate 20 received a system-wide score of 313,561. Out of this, the CPU score is 115,296, the GPU score is 112,516, the UX score is 69,456, and the MEM score is 16,293. This is by far the best score achieved by an Android device, and all the credit goes to the amazing Mate 20's Kirin 980 processor, which outperforms the current Qualcomm flagship SoC - Snapdragon 845.

The Kirin 980 chipset was announced at IFA 2018, and the company flaunts it to be the world's first commercial 7nm system-on-chip equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Compared to the previous generation 10nm process, the 7nm process is reported to deliver 20 percent improved chipset performance and 40 percent more efficiency.

Apart from Kirin 980 chipset, the Huawei Mate 20 is expected to feature a huge 6.43-inches full-HD+ TFT LCD screen panel. The sharp and bright screen resolution of 1080x2244 pixels is there with aspect ratio of 18.7:9. There will be three internal memory variants of this device, namely 4GB/ 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB inbuilt storage options. The massive battery power of 4,000mAh is enough to keep you going. It will sport a triple camera setup with a 40-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the Mate 20 Pro. The Huawei Mate 20 is expected to bear a starting price tag of PKR 110508. On the other hand, Mate 20 Pro starting price will be PKR 125242.
