Nova 3 series is the latest launch of Chinese tech giant Huawei. Well integrated with top class features, Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, the series has a unique Pakistani connection.
The brand held a pre-launch briefing with selected renowned journalists in Lahore. Huawei Pakistan’s country head Blueking Wang addressed the occasion. He shared his vision about consumer requirements in Pakistan. The research revealed that majority of mobile users’ desire for a smart phone with massive memory for storing multimedia content. In view of this research the Nova device comes with 128 GB memory on reasonable price.

Nova 3 and Nova 3i are two innovative smart phones of the recently launched Nova series. Camera lovers can surely droll over these devices as both are equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) quad cameras for breathtaking selfies and AI photo detection.
Artificial Intelligence features are the Chinese technologies. Mr. Blueking Wang commented, Nova series is quiet similar to selfie phones, which are designed according to the preferences of selfie-obsessed generation.
Responding to the question about how to keep prices reasonably low with such high end specification, Mr. Wang credited this achievement to Huawei’s intensive R&D programmes which enable the company to manufacture its own components;hence this makes it convenient to lower the prices.
Huawei is recognized worldwide for developing its own chipsets titled as ‘Kirin’. The company has earlier announced its latest system-on-a-chip, the Kirin 980.
It is said to be the world’s first 7nm mobile processor, the first one built around ARM’s Cortex-A76 CPU and Mali-G76 GPU, the first with a Cat.21 smart phone modem supporting speeds up to 1.4Gbps, and the first chip to support 2,133MHz LPDDR4X RAM.
When asked about next generation phones, Mr. Wang indicated that Pakistan is the top priority market out of three global markets. They even hinted on initiating and leading the 5G race in Pakistan.
During the discussion, Mr. Blueking was asked about the recent controversies in western market. Mr. Blueking dismissed and added that the Western propaganda is due to Huawei’s success across the globe.

Sleek glass is there on both sides of the devices which give it a superior, sophisticated, and premium look and feel. Equipped with 6.3-inch full view screen display, it covers 83.4 percent of the frontal view. Every curve on the Nova 3 series is particularly designed to provide the best grip and a spectacular look.

Advanced AI-powered cameras
Huawei brings its innovative Al technology to a new price point to enable more people to enjoy the exciting trend. On front there is an AI-dual camera set up of 24MP+2MP. On the rear of Nova 3, there are 24MP+ 16MP AI-powered cameras fitted. Nova 3i, on the other hand comes with dual 16MP+ 2MP AI-powered rear camera.
The new f/2.0 wide aperture lens on the 24MP high-resolution front camera is joined by a 2MP broad-spectrum color sensor that captures depth-of-field information for authentic bokeh effects.
Ultimate power play
With the availability of Kirin 970 chipset with 4 GB RAM, Huawei Nova 3 runs on EMIU 8.2 platform. This midrange device delivers flagship experience, no matter whether you use it for work or play purposes. On the contrary, Huawei Nova 3i is equipped with a Kirin 710 Al processor and EMUI 8.2 for flagship performance.

Recognize scenes through Al
Around 200 different scenarios are enabled on these phones. The rear camera detects 22 scenarios along with addition of autumn leaves, ancient building, bike automobile, panda etc. The front camera detect eight unique categories including blue skies, beaches, plants, night stage performances, flower rooms and snow. |
