Huawei Y6S is basically a budget phone which seems very uncompromising when it comes to style and design. It doesn't have many cameras as trending or such other perks but it does house the basic collection of features (like fingerprint sensors, main and selfie cameras, good performance and clean screen) delivering adequate results.
Display, Design
Starting with the design of Huawei's new model, Y6S, it has softly rounded edges. The screen inches are exactly 6.088 with 79.2% screen-to-body ratio. There are 720×1560 pixels present making the screen content appear, clean and discreet.
Now aside from mentioning just the features and talking about experience, the screen display is very satisfying in this phone. Not many distractions are there and the bigger screen gives alot of of space to your content to be seen, read or written.
The back body has a fingerprint sensor to lock/unlock your phone which performs fine. The tall and slim dimensions of Y6S makes it somewhat an eye-candy to look at and carry.
Performance
The Operating system is backed up by EMUI 9.1 (based on Android 9). We have seen EMUI 9.1 becoming a trending OS mainly from late 2019 due to its fast performing results. Huawei chose to pair it in 2020 as well when in fact we are longing for new technologies.
Heavy games, videos or files run smooth on the phone so you need not to fret, my dear friend!
Overall performance is average to good.
Memory, Storage Capacity
In Y6S, like all other current smartphones, there is absolutely no shortage of space. With 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM or 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, you can explore, download, delete and re-download as many files as you need.
Camera
The prime feature you look at when buying a smartphone is it's camera and image-results, sure we all do that!
The Huawei Y6S has a main camera (13MP) at the back and a front selfie camera (8MP) on the front. The results are satisfying, very clear and ideal in daylight and average in low light.
Particularly, Selfies have the best result in bright light.
Battery
There's a non removable Li Po 3020 mAh battery which lasts for long and requires one time charging in 64 hours during constant and heavy use of the phone.
The phone weight is approximately 150g including the battery which makes it easy to carry while it's slim and long screen height makes it a total eye-candy. You can pair your favorite back covers with the phone and make this budget phone, your perfect gadget to use and carry.
