Design
According to rumors, the
iPhone 8 will feature an essential redesign, with an edge-to-edge
display with the top and bottom bezels where features like the front
facing camera and Touch ID fingerprint sensor are housed. Rumors also
suggest Touch ID will either be built into the display or eliminated
entirely in favor of facial recognition technology. Either way, there
will be no physical Home button on the new iPhone. Rumors suggest it
will feature a 5.8-inch display with 5.15 inches of usable area, with
the rest dedicated to virtual buttons, replacing the existing Home
button. The display is said to be flexible plastic OLED rather than an
LCD. It will feature a slightly curved 2.5D display that's similar to
the predecessor’s display. Similar to iPhone 7, this new variant will be
water resistant, but it may have an improved IP68 water resistance
rating.
Processing Power
According to the tech sources, the
iPhone 8 is expected to possess a 10-nanometer A11 chipset that will
be faster and efficient. Rumors suggest that the phone could also
include features like biometric facial recognition, and induction-based
wireless charging that would be used for maximizing security, perhaps to
replace Touch ID.

Camera
According to the rumors, iPhone 8's front-facing camera will come with
advanced 3D sensing capabilities that use Prime Sense. This enables the
user to find the location and depth of objects, enabling facial and IRIS
recognition. Apple is expected to use a vertical rear camera for
improved pictures and better AR functionality, along with a dual-camera
setup for the front-facing FaceTime camera.
Launch Date
There is no official statement about the launch of iPhone 8 but Apple is
fairly predictable. Considering the launch dates of previous iPhones, we
can predict that the iPhone 8 will make it to the stores on either 22th
September 2017 or 23rd September 2017 worldwide.
Officially all iPhones are launched in Pakistan by mid November, so you
will have to wait until then to get your hands on latest iPhone 8 or
iPhone 8 plus. |
