First, the stunning colors of the phone which are Aurora, Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, Black and Pearl White. Among these colors, Mr. Wong emphasized that he specifically loved Amber Sunrise and Breathing Crystal colors while other colors are no less to be cherished.

Second notable feature counted the phone’s body design. We also believe that the phones are quiet attractive and elegant in design and that the unique DNA of P30 phones impact perceptions well enough to make it a distinct and unique phone in our eyes.

Third eminent feature counts P30’s camera which has 50x zooming ability and an astounding night mode effect. You can actually see things in the dark enabling night mode on P30 Phones. Image can be captured through far away finger print touch sensor. With 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and of course the 50x zoom collectively make the camera, work in a jaw dropping manner. Like really catching the moon!

Clement Wong further assures that this phone is nothing like what we can see in the present market and that it houses some really, really interesting features.

Having missed to highlight which processor is being used in the phone, Mr. Wong in the interview informed that the same processor, Kirin 980, is being used in P30 phones which was previously used in the Huawei mate 20’s smart phone. The MPU has all the AI capabilities functioning in the device making its performance more than just impressive. When asked if P30 was worth buying in comparison to new Huawei Mate phones, Mr. Wong kept his heart for both but recommended grabbing P30 presently. Another interesting question sparked in the interview which asked the head of Huawei’s GPM that if the processor is repeatedly used, why a completely new model got launched? Why not the software upgrade and different version of the same series came up? To this Clement Wong asserted that the P30 has more than just the process or software upgrade. It is hardware, software, lens, design, APU and everything a step more innovative and efficiently upgraded; combined to give you an entire different phone experience. A software upgrade of merely a processor cannot make a phone like P30, he politely explains.

The wide lens camera, zoom and telephoto lens together work together on a single screen to give a wow- factor. Two scenes, one zoomed and one un-zoomed can be captured together as a result of Huawei’s hard brainstorming result so that, let’s suppose your beloved is on the stage and giving out a remarkable performance, here with P30, you can cover entire auditorium’s response on half screen and performer’s zoomed view on half screen meanwhile. And this feature is just amazing. He identified that a software upgrade will be debuting soon.

Mr. Clement Wong opened up about how the P30 was developed and from where the unique concepts were extracted. He addressed that the company kept a keen ear for customer’s feedbacks and their wishes as to know what exactly they wanted to use. From improving option positioning and making them more apparent on screen so that the user can use them more rapidly without having to scroll and consume much time, for example people want to use AI photography but they don’t want to go to settings and find the option for a single photo so P30 held this option on front, likewise from enhancing largely the zooming ability, enlarging screen and strengthening graphical view as to spare it an immersive expression for users and all what makes the phone big and impressive was derived from their customer’s feedbacks and wishes. Certainly, this is drawing a major inspiring story for young entrepreneurs to follow. He said that Huawei wishes to develop “perfect” phones for customers and so there will be improvements and developments in constant process.

In the P30, there is no 3D face detection unlocking feature but a very fast responding fingerprint unlock sensor which is being used currently in both P30 and P30 Pro. He further explained why P30 did not opt for screen based speaker, saying that this pushes customer to constantly move the phone back and forth while on call to find that one area where the sound may properly deliver right volume. So in order to build the right concentration of sound, Huawei has dedicated a circular area of phone situated near the ear piece which is responsible to deliver the sound. If the whole screen indulges in the function of delivering audio, the sound frequency might just distribute and loose its quality.

So in a nutshell, one thing we learnt from Clement Wong’s exclusive interview is to always heed to customers and figure out their tiniest issues and wishes to create our brand’s magnificent history.
