Why Nokia is Coming Back Now?

Nokia partnered up with HMD Global, which is the sole license of Nokia brand manufacturing both the feature phones and the smartphones. Nokia 6 was the first Android based released in China in early 2017. HMD is solely operated by Nokia veterans and is based in Finland. A fairly unique approach is taken by HMD, the Google’s Android Nougat OS in its purest form is offered to these Nokia phones. Meaning that there will be no UI customization, no bundled third party and regular security updates. HMD believes that Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 will stand out from the competition with solid hardware design, Android in its purest form, and no gimmicky features.

Nokia 6

The Nokia 6 is the biggest launch of all three handsets. It features 5.5-inch display, 3BG of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The front facing camera is 8MP with a wide angle lens and auto-focus mode. The back camera is 16MP with dual tone flash. The camera quality is not amazing but it is what you would expect from a budget friendly phone.

The Nokia 6 is manufactured from a solid aluminum black with diamond cut edges. The sharp edges meet the matte aluminum body giving it a very industrial metallic finish. A limited edition glossy version is also available with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and it is going to be a little pricey compared to the matte aluminum body.

Nokia 5

The second launch of Nokia-Android phone, which is quite impressive. It features 5.2-inch display, powered by 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor. Nokia 5 also has aluminum body with curved edges that makes the display bleeding in to the metal case. This can remind you of an iPhone. With a 13MP back camera and a wide angle 8MP front camera. This is also powered by Nokia Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
