Oppo F9: New image of the upcoming smartphone breaks the internet

OPPO Mobiles has never failed to disappoint its users with amazing flagships every time. On 15 August, the brand is all set to unveil OPPO F9 to the world.

The handset has made a lot of waves on the internet in the last few weeks. The major highlight of the device is its unique water drop-style notch.

Recently, latest real-life images have surfaced on Android Pure, which gives perfect idea about the Oppo F9’s display and outlook.

One of the images of OPPO F9 clearly shows the waterdrop-shaped notch, on the selfie camera panel, with reduced side bezels and a thin chin on the bottom.

The other leaked images of OPPO F9 display a two color variants such as Red Sunshine and Twilight. You can choose the one that describes your preferences perfectly.

The fingerprint sensor is present on the rear panel of the Oppo F9 and is of oval-shape. It is placed in the center of the upper half, with Oppo’s logo just below it.

At the top corner, there’s a horizontal dual-camera setup and LED flash, both of which are surrounded by a common Chrome-plated edge.

OPPO Mobiles has surprisingly published the hardware and specifications of OPPO F9 on its Vietnamese website. According to the details published on Oppo Vietnam, the display of OPPO F9 will have a 6.3-inch FullHD+ display. Dual camera setup at the back comprised of 16 MP sensors, and a 2MP sensor. On the front, OPPO F9 will have a 25MP camera equipped with some AI capabilities. You can shoot selfies and make video calls.

According to leaked information, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Mediatek Helio P60 Octa-core chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The smartphone is expected to run Oppo’s Color OS UI platform, on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

The dual-SIM OPPO F9 will also have VOOC fast-charging standard for the 3,500mAh battery life. With just five minutes of charging, the device can run for two hours.
