Considering the design first, the OPPO R17, and R17 Pro New Year special edition smart phone come enclosed in a customized retail box. However, the device itself is available in red color with 18K gold finish around the rear camera. The device also comes with specially designed New Year themed UI, engraved golden logo of a piglet is placed on the bottom of the rear shells of both phones. This logo is there on the eve of celebration of Chinese New Year of pig.
OPPO Mobiles is giving out the Oppo R17 New Year Edition with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built in storage at PKR 56751 / $405, while the OPPO R17 Pro New Year Edition with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at PKR 86878 / $620.
OPPO R17 was initially announced back in August. It sports a 6.4 inches Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 91.5% screen to body ratio, a notch, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC. There is also an in display fingerprint sensor that can unlock the device in 0.41 seconds.
