Realme 3 Hands-On Review

So the promised review of Realme 3 is here and it’s time we dig into the details.

Realme 3 is a budget device paving for a strong market to build customer trust and preference in Pakistan. You can expect the best of best having its budget in view as the performance of Realme 3 device is quite convincing.

Realme 3 has introduced two variants of itself in which one variant consists of 3GB RAM having 21,999 Sale Price in Pakistan on Daraz.pk and the other consists of 4GB RAM having 28,999 Sale Price in Pakistan. Both variants carry Mediatek Helio P60.

Note: This Sale has already started on Daraz by 20th April 2019.

Design, Display

Realme 3 embodies plastic which has some gorgeous gradient blends dressed on its rear. The color includes Black, Dynamic Black and radiant Blue; each having its own ritzy, classy vibe. The device body is so perfectly smooth and clear that it captures a lot of smudges. To prevent these bad smudges on rear, Realme 3 provides a silicon cover in its box while on front, the Oppo Realme has installed a protection of corning gorilla glass 3.

Realme 3 is 6.22 inch big with 720 by1520 pixels resolution and 16M color which adds enough quality to its display and makes it feel worth buying. The brightness level is nice and displays content visible even in sunlight. However since it has a 720 by 1520 pixels resolution, the content might feel a little blurry on zooming in the display but that’s what every budget phone is having as a weakness and so is Realme 3.

There is a dual camera setup slotted on back around which a prominent yellow stroke is drawn, emitting some youthful vibe. Then comes the fingerprint sensor which is present right below the camera setup on mid of rear body.

On front of the Realme 3 you find a water drop notch in which a 13MP camera is placed.

Performance Platform

The Oppo has got the new Color OS 6 which delivers a unique user experience. A 3 finger screenshot option is also present which captures a screenshot as you swipe your 3 fingers on screen. Isn’t that cool? You can also split your screen for multitasking and operate them. Other than these many interestingly cool features are available with the Color OS6. Mali-G72 MP3 is used as a Graphics Processing Unit.

There are finger print sensor and face recognition features both available in the Realme 3 which perform quick and responsive.

Talking about its battery, the Realme 3 is in pair with a 4230mAH non-removable battery which provides back up for up to 3 days. A 3-in-1 sim tray is also built-in the phone.

Camera Performance

Camera performance in the Realme 3 device is quite good and includes flagship features. There speed might not be as accurately winning as those of flagship ones however they do perform decently.

These features include Portrait mode, Nightscape, Panoramic, Expert, Slomo or time-lapse. Both front and back cameras work awesome and well in Realme 3, especially when enabled in good lightening. In lowlight however the details seem to lose focus. Realme 3 records video at 1080 resolution in which details are well-captured yet image-stabilization is not well-caught. The 13MP camera is in pair with a 2 MP depth sensor on rear while 13 MP front facing selfie camera is slotted on front.
