Redmi Note 7 Will Feature Super Night Scene Camera Mode

MIUI Weibo account revealed that Redmi Note 7 will sport the Night Scene feature in an upcoming software update.

The Super Night Scene camera mode was originally added to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 smart phone last year, and since that time it has been added to Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S smartphones.

There are many similarities between Google Pixel Night Sight mode and Super Night scene camera. The users are provided the opportunity to click great photos in low light conditions.

The official Weibo account of MIUI team on Tuesday posted that the Super Night Scene camera mode will be reaching the Redmi Note 7 users in the coming days.

The team was currently using the mode on their unit of the Redmi Note 7, indicating that the feature is currently in testing.

In November 2018, the Super Night Scene camera mode was released for the Mi Mix 3 as a part of MIUI 10 8.11.7 update. The feature was later released for the Mi 8 and Mi Mix 2S phones as a part of the MIUI 10 8.11.8 update the same month.

No time frame has been provided by the MIUI team for the update, however, company is already testing the feature, it should not take long to reach general public.

The Redmi Note 7 was unveiled in China last week featuring a rear dual-camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel sensor.

The first batch of the phone was quickly sold out. Redmi is aiming to sell 1 million units of the Redmi Note 7 in January.
