Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Launch: Everything you need to know about the next Flagship before Galaxy Unpacked 2021

Samsung is about to pull the curtains from the much-awaited and anticipated Galaxy S21 line up today at the Official Galaxy Unpacked Event 2021. The launch will be live-streamed online to conduct the event with a minimum physical audience in the wake of the enduring Coronavirus Pandemic. The Covid-19 couldn’t stop Samsung from bringing their latest flagship smartphones, devices, and technology to life. Here’s all you need to know about the South Korean giant’s next flagship before the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 officially kicks.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series variants, prices, and specifications have leaked multiple times online. We have also scrolled through some alleged live images of the flagship devices. Samsung will unveil at least three versions in the Galaxy S21 series, namely: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The rumors about the device, coming from the likes of Evan Blass and other such renowned tipsters, have fully blown the smartphones for the fans and tech geeks.

The leaked renders show that the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra will be available in several colors. The smallest of all three Galaxy S21 will come with a 6.2 inches Full HD+ display, its elder brother Galaxy S21+ will offer a 6.7 inches Full HD+ display. Both smartphones will be equipped with a Dynamic AMOLED flat-screen display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The mightiest of all, Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, will feature a 6.8 inches WQHD+ display with an adaptive 120Hz LPTO panel.

As the leaked images suggest, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will come with a triple rear camera setup on the back. While the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with some seriously major updates in the camera department. The device will sport a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter, a 10MP optical telephoto lens, and a 10MP optical “Super” Telephoto sensor. The Ultra model is likely to feature the industry-leading 100x Space Zoom and provide laser autofocus. For selfies, the S21 and S21+ will feature a 10MP front camera, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will bring a 40MP front snapper.

After all the cosmetics and external beauty, let’s get under the hood to explore what Samsung will be offering us inside their next flagships. The Galaxy S21 series will come equipped with the latest Exynos 2100 processor. In Galaxy S21 Ultra, the ultimate chipset will be coupled with either 12 or 16GB of RAM and offer three internal storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. While the other two models Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S21+ will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

All three smartphones will run the latest Android version 11 based on One UI 3.1 out of the box. The Galaxy S21 will pack a 4000mAh battery, whereas the Galaxy S21+ will have a 4800mAh battery. The top-end Galaxy S21 Ultra will come fuelled by a 5000mAh battery. The Galaxy S21 series is expected to support at least 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless fast charging, and wireless power share. After what Apple did with the launch of the latest iPhone 12 series, Samsung has also decided not to include the charger/power brick in the box of the Galaxy S21 series.

Some other minor details floating online are that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will weigh 171 grams and come in Phantom Violet, Phantom Gray, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink. The Galaxy S21+ will weigh 202 grams and will be available in Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Violet. While the Galaxy S21 Ultra will weigh 228 grams and only come in Phantom Silver and Phantom Black. All three devices will come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Apart from the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung is expected to unveil Galaxy Earbuds Pro, Galaxy Smart Tag, and other exciting products at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021.
