Samsung Galaxy S25 FE June 2026 Security Patch

The Galaxy S25 FE just received its first security update since completing the One UI 8.5 upgrade, and Samsung wasted no time getting it out the door. The patch landed in South Korea first, which is standard practice before it fans out globally.

A Small File with a Long Fix List

At just over 324 MB, this is not the kind of update that keeps you waiting. But do not let the size fool you. The firmware build S731NKSS7BZF1 carries fixes for more than 45 vulnerabilities across the device. Google contributed patches for 33 of those, Samsung covered 11 independently, and one specific fix came straight from Samsung Foundry targeting an HDR DRM security flaw.

That last one matters more than it sounds — HDR DRM governs how your phone handles high-quality streams on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video, so a flaw there can silently affect your viewing experience without you ever knowing.

No New Features for Users

There are no software improvements or bug fixes bundled with this one. It is a pure security release. The patch covers all devices running Android 14 and above, and the security level is officially stamped June 2026. A leaker on X named KAILASH first spotted the rollout with a firmware screenshot confirming the details, originally posted in Korean.

What Pakistan Users Should Know?

The update has not reached Pakistani units yet. Samsung typically works through its home market before deploying to other regions. Once it does arrive, you will want to keep an eye out for the firmware string S731NKSS7BZF1 as confirmation. To check manually, head to Settings, tap Software Update, then hit Check for Updates. If it is available, the download and install prompt will appear from there.
