Samsung's current flagship device, the Galaxy S5, was
unveiled on Feb. 24, 2014 at the company's presentation at MWC. The
Samsung Galaxy S4
was first shown publicly on March 14, 2013 at a New York City
event called 'Samsung Mobile Unpacked. Samsung typically announces its
Galaxy S series Smartphone in the February-May period; rumor mills are
abuzz that the company could unveil its upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S6, a bit earlier this time.

According to a report from Korean online publication Chosen Biz, which
cites analysts from South Korea-based Mirae Asset Securities (MAS), the
Galaxy S6 could be unveiled between January 6 and 9, moreover we might
see the curved screen variant debut alongside the Galaxy S6.
Rumors point at Samsung Galaxy S6 features Snapdragon 810 or Exynos 7420
chipset, 5.5” QHD Super AMOLED display, and 20-megapixel rear camera and
a 5-megapixel front snapper, octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB
internal storage.
