Samsung Mobiles is reportedly planning to launch a new smart phone
equipped with four rear cameras. Ice Universe, a reliable source
indicated about Samsung leaks in a tweet. It hinted about the upcoming
phone launch by the end of 2018. The tweet reads, “Samsung Camera Camera
Camera Camera.”

According to the leaks, this most talked about quad camera phone is not
the long rumored foldable phone or the Samsung Galaxy S10. However, there is no
clear or official information about whether this ‘quad rear camera
phone’ will be part of the existing Samsung series, or will make a debut
with a new series title. Time will tell!

The best part about this four camera device of Samsung is that these
snappers are placed at the back. Up till now, only triple camera devices
were surfaced in the market. This will be one of its kind. Talking about
triple camera setup devices, Huawei P20 comes to our mind. Later, Oppo R17 also was launched with three cameras at the back.
Samsung right now has failed to confirm the plan of launching the device
equipped with four rear cameras. Everything that we hear on internet
about the device is just rumors and speculations at the moment.
DJ Koh, Head of Samsung’s mobile division, informed media that the
company will focus on differentiating mid-end phones ahead of high-end
devices. However, there is a possibility that Samsung could launch a
premium mid end device with four rear cameras on the back.
Mr. Koh also said, “In the past, I brought the new technology and
differentiation to the flagship model and then moved to the mid-end. But
I have changed my strategy from this year to bring technology and
differentiation points starting from the mid-end.”
In the upcoming months, Samsung Mobiles is reportedly planning to launch
a new phone under the Galaxy A-series. That handset is expected to give
tough competition to One plus 6 and Nova 3 devices.
