Samsung Unpacked 2026: Galaxy Z Fold 8 Series and Flip 8 Leak Everything
Samsung has locked in June 22nd for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, and the confirmation came bundled with something extra: reservations are now open for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8. Right on cue, Android Headlines got hold of the full lineup and put out renders of literally everything expected to debut that day. Here's the rundown.

First, a quick clarification on those reservations .They're not pre-orders. If you've gone ahead and reserved one anyway, Samsung is throwing in a $30 credit once actual pre-orders open. One catch worth flagging for readers here in Pakistan: this perk is strictly a US thing. Regional offers like this rarely travel, so don't expect the same deal locally.
Three Foldables, Two Watches
The lineup splits into three folding phones . The standard Z Fold 8, the Z Flip 8, and a new Z Fold 8 Ultra , alongside two wearables, the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2. Android Headlines' leak covered each device individually, complete with color previews, so we've got a fairly clear picture of what's coming.

Galaxy Z Fold 8: the "Wide" one
This is technically the base model, though Samsung's own framing leans toward calling it the Z Fold 8 (Wide) . A deliberate jab at the iPhone Ultra it's meant to compete with. Expect a 7.6-inch main display paired with a 5.5-inch cover screen, both sitting on a 4:3 aspect ratio.
On the spec side: it weighs in at 200g, measures 4.5mm thick unfolded and 9.7mm folded shut, and runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a 4800mAh battery. Leaked color options include Cream, Graphite, and Lavender.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: the real successor
Despite the naming, this is the phone that actually continues the traditional tall-format Z Fold design. It's shown up in White, Black, and Purple, and packs a 5000mAh battery . A solid step up from the Z Fold 7's 4400mAh.
Charging tops out at 45W, and like its sibling it runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with 12GB of RAM. The camera setup is where it separates itself: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 3x 10MP telephoto lens.
Galaxy Z Flip 8: the budget-flagship flip
The Flip 8 rounds out the trio as the least premium of the bunch, and it shows in the chipset — Samsung is reportedly going with its own Exynos 2600 here instead of Qualcomm silicon. It's a 2nm, 10-core chip on paper, but early indications suggest it won't match the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for raw performance.
Color-wise, expect Pink, Graphite, and White. Battery capacity lands at 4300mAh, and the phone is expected to weigh just 180g. Across the board, all three foldables are tipped to cost a bit more than their Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 predecessors.
