We are unboxing it, the new Tecno Camon 15 Pro, this moment and sharing it all with you. The Tecno Camon 15 Pro is available in two premium colors of Ice Jadeite and Opal White. The model in ice jadeite color has perks of covering smudges on the rear with a classy vibe. The quad cameras are aligned in a unique design with a 48-megapixel primary camera and 3 other secondary cameras on the rear. The back body has the glass finish and contains a fingerprint sensor which is not so big in size but adequate. The width is a little wider than most smartphones launching this year but the height is almost following the trend with 6.53 inches. The phone can be hand compatible with these proportions but the bulky weight has to be mentioned. The front has an entire bezel-less or notch-less screen with curved edges all around.
Talking about the display, the screen resolution has 1080 x 2340 pixels making the vision clear and smooth if not so much vibrant.
Camera
Moving on to the six cameras that the Tecno Camon 15 pro is containing, 4 of them with an LED flash are aligned on the rear while two of them are contained as a pop-up camera. There is one main 48 MP camera, 5 MP ultra-wide angle, 2 MP close-up/portrait camera or macro sensor and low light lens. The power pack of these quad cameras features exclusive modes such as
AI cam, Beauty, Super Night, Bokeh, Panorama, AR shot and portrait.
The AR mode helps you capturing moments on a lighter note with funny and friendly effects.
Then the Tecno Camon 15 Pro features a motorized 32 MP Pop-up AI selfie camera that has multiple premium modes such as beauty, AI shot, Super night and wide selfie.
Battery
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro is backed by a 4000 mAh battery with a 10W charger. The battery here is pretty trustworthy as it lasts for 24 hours or even more than that under normal usage. It takes 2 hours to recharge the phone completely, otherwise.
Software
Talking about the performance, it’s good and workable under the budget price it offers. As for software, it runs on HiOS 6.0.1, based on Android 10. The performance pack is cool however the bloatware affects the performance. The Camon 15 Pro is powered by a 2.35 GHz Octa-Core MediaTekHelio P35 Processor. And talking about the memory, it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable to up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
So under the budget value, a phone with quad cameras, pop up selfie camera, fingerprint sensor and decent performance are definitely worth a notice.
