Much has been speculated about the proposed design of the iPhone of 2019.
According to the published images revealed, it might come with a square camera module that contains three cameras.

Two cameras will be vertically aligned like the iPhone XS, but there will also be a third camera placed between the two, on the side. On top there will be a LED flash and on the bottom there is a microphone.
According to On Leaks claims, the 2019 iPhones are still in the engineering validation testing (EVT) stage. There is a possibility about the changes to the design since the phones will not be released until September 2019.

According to the speculations, Apple plans to launch three iPhones in September 2019.
This include a low-end variant, possibly the successor of the iPhone XR and two high-end variants, succeeding the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max.
It is not confirmed to say which 2019 variant will carry the three rear cameras. However, it is certain that this is one of the most powerful models.
This is surely not the first time that 2019 iPhone variants are speculated about three cameras. Some reports reveal that the company could add a third camera with 3D ToF technology in the 2019 iPhones.
The ToF or Time of Flight technology is based on the time it takes for light to bounce off an object to create a 3D map.
According to vice president and principal analyst at Atherton Research, Jean Baptiste Su, the 2019 iPhones will also have a USB-C port and will be equipped with in-display Touch ID fingerprint scanner. |
