Gaming phones are slowly gaining the attraction in the smartphone market. With a number of phone makers like Xiaomi (BlackShark), Razer, Asus and more getting into this slot, it was only a matter of time before Vivo amalgamated with its own take on the gaming phone.
Vivo heavily teased the iQOO a few weeks ago, saying it’s a “Monster Inside”.
Yes, this is the official slogan of the Vivo iQOO, which comes with strong specs and a plethora of game uplifting features.

Display:
Vivo iQoo features a 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There’s also an under-display fingerprint reader on this phone, which seems to be becoming a mainstream feature for 2019’s flagship phones.
Processor:
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 855 processor.
Storage:
The cheaper 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant will come with slower 22.5W fast charging, which is still good but not as great as the 44W fast charging in the more expensive variant. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD slot, but then again you won’t really need one with this much storage available.
Camera:
For photography, there’s a triple-camera setup of 13-megapixel Sony IMX263 sensor, 12-megapixel and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies.
Battery:
Vivo iQOO packs a 4,000mAh battery along with support for 44W fast charging. It’s capable of charging the phone up to 50% in just 15 minutes, 85% in half an hour and to 100% in 45 minutes.
Connectivity:
The smartphone offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C and Bluetooth.
Additional features:
It also features an in-display fingerprint in addition to face unlock.
