Vivo's X300 E arrived in China right on its expected July 27 launch date, and the headline spec is a genuine flagship-tier chipset. Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, running at 3.8GHz across an octa-core Oryon third-generation setup, paired with UFS 4.1 storage. The base configuration starts at CNY 4,799 (roughly $709) for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with a 512GB option also available, though 12GB is the only RAM tier offered across the board.
Build Details Vary Slightly by Color
Interestingly, the phone's exact thickness and weight shift depending on which color you pick. The black and orange finishes come in thinner and lighter at 7.79mm and 199.5 grams, while the white version measures 7.99mm and 203 grams, a small but real difference that doesn't come with any added functionality attached to it.

A Display Downgrade
The 6.59-inch AMOLED panel runs a sharp 1.5K resolution (2,750 x 1,260) at a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, but Vivo notably dropped LTPO technology this time around, a step back from the X300 FE's 120Hz LTPO screen. LTPO panels typically adjust refresh rate dynamically to save battery, so losing it here is a genuine trade-off buyers should factor in, even with the higher raw refresh number.

Despite launching as a brand-new device, the X300 E ships with Android 16 and OriginOS 6 rather than Android 17, which already exists in the wild, running on Samsung's newly released Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8.
