Samsung
has already hinted to bring some special features of its premium smart
phone to mid range series.
This strategy will be adopted by Samsung to counter the crescent wave of
premium mid range smart phones of Xiaomi and Huawei and its aggressive
prices.
According to speculations, the company is interested to implement a
remarkable feature, Wireless Charging in future mid range devices.

This latest report comes directly from South Korea, and according to the
information, Samsung will launch a cheaper 9W wireless charger this
month that will cost just $17.
For now, Samsung’s cheapest wireless charger offering is the P3100TBEGWW
charging pad, which the price reaches $46.
This new Charging Pad is a hint that Samsung will soon be introducing
the wireless charging feature to the cheaper smartphones of its
portfolio. This new charging pad would perfectly fit on the price
segment for the Galaxy A devices and Galaxy J series.
Currently, only Xiaomi, OPPO, Huawei, or VIVO devices offer wireless
charging support, and none of them are from the midrange category.
In case South-Korean maker Samsung introduces this neat feature to
midrange devices, the Chinese smartphones would certainly counter-attack
with their own offerings. This action can benefit customers of this
segment with a feature previously seen only in flagships. |
