The original Mi 8 was the first handset to have night scene mode. The newly announced Redmi Note 7 set has got this feature. Xiaomi co-founder and president, Lin Bin announced on Weibo that they plan to upgrade the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE camera at the end of February with the super night scene mode.
Lin Bin claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE released at the same time with the Xiaomi Mi 8 comes with the Sony’s 12MP 1.4um large pixel camera. This feature is just the same like the camera of Mi 8. This phone also contains a 20 MP camera on front.
Thus this report states that the phone supports less powerful hardware and also cheap in price as compared to Xiaomi Mi 8.
