Xiaomi Reveals the World’s Fastest Charging Tech for Smartphone

2019 has been an exciting year for Xiaomi so far and with this recent update, it has dropped a bomb in the Smartphone industry.

Xiaomi’s president, Lin Bin currently declared that the company’s engineers have been able to attain a breakthrough in the form 100W fast charging technology for smart phones.
 

Recently, the highest fast charging wattage available is 50W that was introduced by OPPO as SuperVOOC.

Lin Bin uploaded a video on Weibo, that showed it only takes 17 minutes to charge a 4000 mAh battery with Xiaomi’s new 100W fast charging.
 

The video also declares a comparison with OPPO’s SuperVOOC. It can be seen that while SuperVOOC charges the battery to 65 percent, Xiaomi’s Super Charge Turbo takes it to 100 percent in just 17 minutes.

Xiaomi’s president has also announced that for safety, the charging brick will be gigantic but for this kind of fast charging.

However, an only compromise like this can be made if phones can actually offering such unbelievably fast charging tech.

This advancement in charging technology is really what the future holds. However, the above-mentioned information is what we know till now. Unfortunately, Lin Bin has not revealed much about the technology.
