A Day Out with Reno: Splendid Launching Event in Scenic Paradise of Pakistan

Many people opt to take their digital photography to scenic locations for several amazing reasons. However, when a mobile brand unveils its flagship model to a scenic paradise in the region that means there is something very special in a gadget. So, OPPO launched Reno models in PC Bourbon, a scenic photography paradise.

Media personnel & Vloggers are invited from across Pakistan to cover OPPO’s new and advanced mobile models OPPO Reno with and without 10X Hybrid Zoom cameras. I (Abrar Ahmed) traveled from Karachi to cover this great launching ceremony on behalf of my portal - Hamariweb. OPPO’s Reno has everything that you can expect from a good smartphone in the aspect of design, camera, and hardware. 48MP camera, 10X hybrid & 6X optical zoom, Ultra Night Mode for night photography and dual operating system make it super-fast.

Reno smartphones were provided to the media friends for the review and feedback purpose. However, they enjoyed great capabilities of 10x lossless zoom and ultra-wide-angle for telephoto shots, offering brand new perspectives on landscapes and portraits modes. Further, the front camera is contained within a pop-up "shark fin" module is among very few of this type featured mobiles.

We started our memorable “journey” as first on small mountain track under the guidance of Aneel Butt & Hassan Khalid as they were the Oppo’s representatives and were assisting media guests. As a team, we tested both variations of the camera and found it really great with its zooming capability and enhanced pictures and video quality with further stability of integrated hardware & software advancements.

I already visited PC Bhurban resort earlier but never tried or even know the great scenic and picturesque track just behind the hotel. Our team viewed the eye-catching Kashmir's mountains as just in front of us (around 25 KM from Bhurban). However, it is just 25-30 minutes track starts from parking end then returns back to the playground area of the resort, also easy and safe for all ages. I took pictures and videos at both of places including track as well as resort’s beautiful scenic views with the provided Reno mobile (without 10X Zoom).

After completing this great sightseeing views, we moved further to Chinar Golf Club Bhurban, Pakistan Army controlled beautiful golfers’ paradise. After availing permission for special entry, we enjoyed scenic views and golf. Most of us, don’t have good practices of golf but “tried our best” for hitting as long as to golf ball in beautiful landscape, ‘assuming as cricket ball and bat” (when said this by our co-guest from Lahore, Mudassar Jehangir – head of More Magazine, it was a laughing moment for all of us). Anyhow, they were great moments from different aspects as we enjoyed golf and took pictures from RENO of these appealing views.

The last but the key moment was in the evening that was the launching ceremony of OPPO RENO in Pakistani market. I personally like this launching event of RENO with its compact format, around 90 minutes session and convenient for all of us to know the great features of this new flagship model of OPPO. RENO all in one camera smartphone was unveiled along with its price tag by Sales Director of OPPO Pakistan, Mr. Jadon Niu. On the other side, Marketing Director (OPPO Pakistan) Ali Kakvi and Product manager Awais Khan impressively presented the event and all features of RENO. The evening was ended with great dinner at resort’s Jungle Hut. A bonfire dinner was offered to all guests including top sales partners invited from all over Pakistan.
