Honor just launched another ultra-affordable phone under title of Honor Play 8 and we love the subtly unique look & feel. Not to forge excitement, the honor 8 is an updated version of Honor 8S. Powered by smart chipset of Helio A22, the Honor Play 8 sports a big screen with a single camera on rear panel and selfie camera under water drop notch on front. Design, Display:
Honor Play 8 is sized around 5.71 inches based on IPS LCD capacitive touch screen along a trail of 16M colors allowing multi touch to operate. There is a single camera on rear panel while the selfie camera is housed under a water drop notch. There are a number of vertical lines drawn on the left side of the back cover which adds a spark of interest in the design of new Honor Play 8 . The resolution is HD+ and the exact ratio is 19:9.
Camera:
Honor Play 8’s camera on the back houses a 13 MP sensor and an f/1.8 lens, bringing forth some really neat features like HDR. The front-facing snapper does 5 MP stills and has an f/2.2 lens. Honor uses the latter with the Android face-unlocking tech to compensate for the lack of a fingerprint scanner. It is a budget device however it’s compensating features in place of premium features gives it a punch of interesting worth.
Performance Platform:
The OS of new Honor Play 8 is based upon Android 9.0 Pie with a Helio A22 chipset. The Octa core CPU is used and the entire team runs as a team of pros inside the Play 8 device. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of total storage which is expandable to up to 512 GB via a MicroSD card.
