The BISP 8171 program is designed to support low-income women across Pakistan. To qualify for the quarterly payment of PKR 13,500, the women must meet specific criteria, which include:​

• Owns Pakistani Citizenship.
• The monthly stipend of the applicant or her husband should be less than PKR 50,000, with household expenses exceeding this income.
• A poverty score should be less than 34, as determined by the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) survey, is required.
• Neither the woman nor her husband may be employed in the government sector. ​
• Applicants should not own significant land, property, or other substantial assets.
• Widows, divorced women, single mothers, laborers, and orphans will be given special preference in the program.

📦 How and When Will You Get Paid?

If the person fits for given eligible criteria, your payment will be:

• Sent every three months.
• You can collect it from designated bank branches or cash centers.
• Withdrawable via ATMs (for partnered banks).
• Bonus: Women with school-going children may also qualify for Taleemi Wazaif (Education Stipends).
