Why Should I Care About SIMs on My Iqama?

If you came to Saudi Arabia and didn’t think much about how many SIM cards were linked to your Iqama. But then you heard stories about unauthorized SIMs causing trouble—legal issues, even security risks! Plus, the rules here say you can only have 2 prepaid SIMs and 5 postpaid SIMs for calls, and unlimited data-only SIMs. So, we decided to dig into it and keep your numbers in check.

How to Check How Many SIM My Iqama Has

Here’s how to do it step-by-step. You can try these too:

  • CST Mutasil Portal – My Go-To Online Trick

Visit mutasilind.citc.gov.sa, popped in your Iqama number, and add your birth date (Hijri style). Just give your mobile number and you’ll get an OTP, and its done—a list of all SIMs under your Iqama wil show up.

  • SMS Method – Quick and Simple

Just text "9988" to 900 (STC) from my phone. Within seconds, they will send you a list of SIMs registered with them. Each operator has its own code—Mobily (616166), Zain (700123), etc. Easy peasy, but it only shows that operator’s SIMs.

  • Absher – My Backup Plan

Log into www.absher.sa with your account, and go to the CST section, and check everything there. It’s great if you’re already an Absher user me.

  • Visiting a Store – Old-School Way

If you do not have an internet just walk into an STC branch, show your Iqama, and ask them about, “How many SIMs my Iqama has?” They will sort it out on the spot.

What If you Find Extra SIMs?

When you find a random SIM just call STC at 900 and get it canceled. You can also complain on www.cst.gov.sa if something fishy pops up.
