OPPO Reno 16 Price
The OPPO Reno 16 officially launched in Pakistan on 31st August 2026 with a price of Rs. 199,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It sits Rs. 50,000 above the Reno 16F, but the extra cost gets you a more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The phone also packs a 6,700mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging and comes with ColorOS 16.
The Camera Setup Is the Main Upgrade
The Reno 16 is built around a triple 50MP rear camera setup. Its main sensor has OIS, while the telephoto camera provides 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. The 50MP ultrawide also has autofocus, which is useful for wide shots where you want more than just a bigger frame. At the front, there is another 50MP camera with a 100-degree field of view.
In independent testing, the 3.5x telephoto camera has been one of the phone's strongest points, particularly for portraits. It gives faces a more natural perspective than simply taking a portrait at 1x and cropping the image later.
A Compact Display
The 6.32-inch AMOLED panel runs at up to 120Hz and offers FHD+ resolution with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. OPPO has also used 10-bit colour with support for 1.07 billion colours. The display supports up to 1800 nits HBM brightness on the listed international specification, although brightness figures can vary by market and testing conditions.
The smaller screen is worth considering before buying. The Reno 16F gives you more room for videos and games, while the Reno 16 is easier to handle if you prefer a phone that does not feel oversized in the hand.
Battery Life
The Reno 16 carries a 6,700mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO claims a full charge from 1% to 100% can take around 59 minutes under its testing conditions. The company also rates the phone for up to 2.73 days of its specified daily-use scenario.
There is no wireless charging, but the combination of a large battery and 80W wired charging should cover the needs of users who spend a lot of time on social media, video streaming, photography or gaming.
Build and Water Protection
Despite having a smaller display, the Reno 16 does not feel like a stripped-down version of the F model. It uses an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and a one-piece cold-sculpted rear design. The phone is also rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K under laboratory testing, giving it protection against dust, water immersion and high-pressure water jets.
OPPO has also introduced the 3D Pop Planet Design on the Pop White version. Instead of a completely flat-looking back, the finish creates a raised visual effect around the rear panel and camera area.
