Suzuki Alto and Cultus Booking in Pakistan Suspended

Pak Suzuki suspends Suzuki Alto and Cultus booking due to Global Chip shortages. Several companies globally are facing production issues due to the semiconductor chip shortage. The production issues are resulting in late deliveries and increased production time. This crisis is also affecting businesses in Pakistan. Auto manufacturers including Al-Haj FAW, KIA, Changan, Proton, and MG are unable to fulfill their delivery commitments.

The latest booking halt of Suzuki Alto VXL, and Cultus AGS, and VXL is due to the essential chip shortage. The covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns are the reason behind the semi-conductor chip shortage. As people were forced to work from home, chip manufacturers shifted their focus to meeting demand from the tech industry, particularly the segment producing laptops, cell phones, and webcams. Meanwhile, during lockdowns, some chip factories also ceased their operations.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company is currently running short on this essential part, and this booking halt is an alarming sign. PSMC will produce fewer vehicles this month, and its record-breaking sales figures will suffer as a result of the suspension of bookings for Alto and Cultus variants. Unfortunately, the global chip crisis has begun to wreak havoc on our domestic auto industry. However, in a piece of related news, Suzuki Bolan AC Variant Will Be Relaunched Soon.
