UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called for preventing Israeli Military assault on Rafah.

Speaking in New York, he said an operation in Rafah would cause more casualties and displacement of civilian.                               

He emphasized a ceasefire in Gaza and appealed to countries having influence over Israel to prevent the Rafah assault.
