Narrated Jabir: We performed the Nahr (sacrifice) with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at Al-Hudaibiyyah: A camel for seven (persons) and a cow for seven (persons).

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَحَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ الْبَدَنَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ وقَالَ إِسْحَاق:‏‏‏‏ يُجْزِئُ أَيْضًا الْبَعِيرُ عَنْ عَشَرَةٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَاحْتَجَّ بِحَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ.

جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حدیبیہ کے موقع پر اونٹ اور گائے کو سات آدمیوں کی طرف سے نحر ( ذبح ) کیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- صحابہ کرام میں سے اہل علم اور ان کے علاوہ لوگوں کا اسی پر عمل ہے، سفیان ثوری، ابن مبارک، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی یہی قول ہے، ۳- اسحاق بن راہویہ کہتے ہیں: اونٹ دس آدمی کی طرف سے بھی کفایت کر جائے گا، انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث سے استدلال کیا ہے ۱؎۔
