Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَاتُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ عَنْ آخِرِهَا ، خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : حُرِّمَتِ التِّجَارَةُ فِي الْخَمْرِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوضحی نے، ان سے مسروق نے، ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   جب سورۃ البقرہ کی تمام آیتیں نازل ہو چکیں تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے اور فرمایا کہ شراب کی سوداگری حرام قرار دی گئی ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: When the last verses of Surat-al-Baqara were revealed, the Prophet went out (of his house to the Mosque) and said, The trade of alcohol has become illegal.
