حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، مِلْءُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ، وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا، وَمِلْءُ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ، أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ، لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

Urdu Translation

  ۔ ہشیم نے بشیر نے بیان کیا : ہمیں ہشام بن حسان نے قیس بن سعد سے خبر دی ، انہوں نے عطاء سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ نبی اکرمﷺ جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو فرماتے : ’’اے اللہ ، اے ہمارے رب! تیرے ہی لیے تمام تعریف ہے آسمان اور زمین بھر اور ان دونوں کے درمیان کی وسعت بھر اور ان کی بعد جو تو چاہے اس کی وسعت بھر ۔ اے تعریف اور بزرگی کے سزاوار! جو توعنایت فرمائے اسے کوئی چھین نہیں سکتا اور جس سے تو محروم کر دے وہ کوئی دے نہیں سکتا اور نہ کسی مرتبے والے کو تیرے سامنے اس کا مرتبہ نفع دے سکتا ہے ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Ibn Abbas reported: When the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) raised his head after bowing, he said: Allah! our Lord, to Thee be the praise that would fill the heavens and the earth and that which is between them, and that which will please Thee besides (them). Worthy art Thou of all praise and glory. No one can withhold what Thou givest, or give what Thou withholdest. And the greatness O! the great availeth not against Thee.
