و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

Urdu Translation

  عبداللہ بن نمیر اور محمد بن بشر نے کہا : ہمیں عبیداللہ نے نافع سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ " بخار کی شدت جہنم کی لپٹوں سے ہے ، اس کو پانی سے ٹھنڈا کرو ۔ "

English Translation

Ibn Umar reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Fever is due to vehemence of the heat of Hell, so cool it with water.
