حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ ابْنُ رَافِعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا - يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: قَدِمْتُ أَنَا وَأَخِي مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، فَكُنَّا حِينًا، «وَمَا نُرَى ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، وَأُمَّهُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِنْ كَثْرَةِ دُخُولِهِمْ وَلُزُومِهِمْ لَهُ»

Urdu Translation

  ابو زائدہ نے ابو اسحٰق سے ، انھوں نے اسود بن یزید سے ، انھوں نے حضرت موسی ( اشعری ) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں اور میرا بھا ئی یمن سے آئے تو کچھ عرصہ ہم حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اور ان کی والدہ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر بکثرت آنے جانے اور آپ کے ساتھ لگے رہنے کی وجہ سے ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اہل بیت میں سے سمجھتے تھے ۔

English Translation

Abu Musa reported: When I and my brother came from Yemen we used to consider Ibn Mas'ud and his mother amongst the members of the household. of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) because of their visiting them frequently and staying there for long (periods of) time.
