حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حَسَّانَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، يَسْتَشْهِدُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَنْشُدُكَ اللهَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «يَا حَسَّانُ أَجِبْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، اللهُمَّ أَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ» قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: نَعَمْ

Urdu Translation

  زہری نے کہا : مجھے ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمان نے بتایا کہ انھوں نے حضرت حسان بن ثابت انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ حضرت ابو ہریرۃ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے گواہی طلب کررہے تھے ، ( کہہ رہے تھے : ) میں تمھارے سامنے اللہ کا نام لیتا ہوں! کیاتم نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سناتھا ۔ " حسان!اللہ کےرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف سے جواب دو ۔ اےاللہ!روح القدس کے ذریعے سے اس کی تائید فرما! " ؟ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : ہاں ۔

English Translation

Abd al-Rahman reported that he heard Hassin b. Thabit al-Ansari call Abu Huraira to bear witness by saying: I adjure you by Allah if you had not heard Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) saying: Hassin, give a reply on behalf of the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, help him with Ruh-ul-Qudus. Abu Huraira said: Yes, it is so.
