حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ بَاعَ عَبْدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَمَالُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِلْبَائِعِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ .

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے کوئی ایسا غلام بیچا جس کے پاس مال ہو تو مال بیچنے والے کو ملے گا، الا یہ کہ خریدار خریدتے وقت شرط لگا لے ( کہ مال میں لوں گا تو پھر خریدار ہی پائے گا ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If anyone buys a slave who possesses property, his property belongs to the seller unless the buyer makes a proviso.
