حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذَكَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ يُخْدَعُ فِي الْبَيْعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا بَايَعْتَ فَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا خِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا بَايَعَ يَقُولُ لَا خِلَابَةَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ذکر کیا کہ خرید و فروخت میں اسے دھوکا دے دیا جاتا ہے ( تو وہ کیا کرے ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا: جب تم خرید و فروخت کرو، تو کہہ دیا کرو «لا خلابة» ( دھوکا دھڑی کا اعتبار نہ ہو گا ) تو وہ آدمی جب کوئی چیز بیچتا تو «لا خلابة» کہہ دیتا ۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn Umar: A man told the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم that he was being deceived in business transactions. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then said: When you make a bargain, say: There is no attempt to deceive. So when the man made a bargain, he said: There is no attempt to deceive.
