Sunan Abu Dawood 914 - Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خَمِيصَةٍ لَهَا أَعْلَامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ شَغَلَتْنِي أَعْلَامُ هَذِهِ اذْهَبُوا بِهَا إِلَى أَبِي جَهْمٍ وَأْتُونِي .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ایسی چادر میں نماز پڑھی جس میں نقش و نگار تھے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مجھے اس چادر کے نقش و نگار نے نماز سے غافل کر دیا، اسے ابوجہم کے پاس لے جاؤ ( ابوجہم ہی نے وہ چادر آپ کو تحفہ میں دی تھی ) اور ان سے میرے لیے ان کی انبجانی چادر لے آؤ ۔

English Translation

Aishah said: the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم once prayed with a sheet of cloth upon him. It had prints and paintings. He said: The prints of this (sheet) distracted my attention; take it to Abu Jahm and bring a blanket to me.
