How to restore your apps and settings to a new Android phone?

Before restoring data is started just make sure that the backup service is running on your current phone. Here's how you can get started: Open Settings from the home screen and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the System settings; there select Backup and turn it on. As data is being backed up you can wait. Now that the Android backup services are enabled, your system settings and app data will be automatically saved to Drive. As your data is now being backed up you can relax and your data will be transferred to your new device.
