1. When you are tagged in a post or story, you receive a notification of that tag. It can be viewed by clicking on the ARROW icon on the right top corner of your screen. Click on it.

2. By doing so, a thread of messages will be displayed. You can see the pop out notification on the chat thread who tagged you. Tap it.

3. When you will open the thread, you will find an option, “Add to your Story” in the footnote of that tag. Click on it.

4. This will take you to the next box, which will allow you to add text, stickers etc. You can add them as per your desire.

5. Now you only have to click “Send”. This will share the story.

Though a bit contained way of sharing the story but that is what sets Instagram apart from its parallels. Keeping in view, the privacy of their users, it allows or disallows the sharing of a post.
