The initial step regarding the mobile phone unblocking from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority is its registration with PTA. However, it is a simple step as it just requires you to sign up at the website by just making a visit. The link is https://www.pta.gov.pk/en.
On signing up you will be asked about 2 categories that are individual and personal. Just go in the category of Purpose, and select “personal/individual”.
In the user category, just choose Pakistani.
When the signup process will complete, you will be asked about your email address confirmation that you can do by accessing your email inbox.
How To Unblock Your Phone Blocked By PTA: Step 2
In this step, you have to sign in into your account that you created on PTA website.
After reading the declaration, you have to enter “User Type”.
Then you have to click on the option of “mobile registration to pay duty tax”.
Provide your contact details such as phone number.
Select the type of SIM.
Provide the IMEI number/s of the smartphone or mobile phone that you want to get unblocked.
Submit the form.

After the completion of above two steps and the submission of online form, you will be able to see all data that you earlier provided.
You have to save the COC details present in the form as it is a key step for mobile unlocking from PTA.
However, these details will possess the tax amount that you will need to pay for mobile unblocking and registration.
At the last, you will have to submit the amount in bank by providing the COC number.
How to find that whether the phone is now unblocked or not?
PTA or Pakistan Telecommunication Authority will keep you informed via email or SMS that your mobile phone is now registered.
