حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ابْتَاعَ غُلَامًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَقَامَ عِنْدَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُقِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ وَجَدَ بِهِ عَيْبًا فَخَاصَمَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدِ اسْتَغَلَّ غُلَامِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْخَرَاجُ بِالضَّمَانِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ   ایک شخص نے ایک غلام خریدا، وہ غلام جب تک اللہ کو منظور تھا اس کے پاس رہا، پھر اس نے اس میں کوئی عیب پایا تو اس کا مقدمہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے پیش کیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غلام بائع کو واپس کرا دیا، تو بائع کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! اس نے میرے غلام کے ذریعہ کمائی کی ہے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: خراج ( منافع ) اس شخص کا حق ہے جو ضامن ہو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ سند ویسی ( قوی ) نہیں ہے ( جیسی سندوں سے کوئی حدیث ثابت ہوتی ہے )

English Translation

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: A man bought a slave, and he remained with him as long as Allah wished him to remain. He then found defect in him. He brought his dispute with him to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and he returned him to him. The man said: Messenger of Allah, my slave earned some wages. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then said: Profit follows responsibility. Abu Dawud said: This chain of narrators (of this version) is not reliable.
