حَدَّثَنَا خُشَيْشُ بْنُ أَصْرَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَتْ هِنْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏رَجُلٌ مُمْسِكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا حَرَجَ عَلَيْكِ أَنْ تُنْفِقِي بِالْمَعْرُوفِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں   ہند رضی اللہ عنہا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ابوسفیان کنجوس آدمی ہیں، اگر ان کے مال میں سے ان سے اجازت لیے بغیر ان کی اولاد کے کھانے پینے پر کچھ خرچ کر دوں تو کیا میرے لیے کوئی حرج ( نقصان و گناہ ) ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معروف ( عام دستور ) کے مطابق خرچ کرنے میں تمہارے لیے کوئی حرج نہیں ۔

English Translation

Narrated Aishah: Hind came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy person. Is there any harm to me if I spend on his dependants from his property without his permission ? The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: There is no harm to you if you spend according to the custom.
