حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَتَتْكَ رُسُلِي فَأَعْطِهِمْ ثَلَاثِينَ دِرْعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ بَعِيرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَعَارِيَةً مَضْمُونَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ عَارِيَةً مُؤَدَّاةٌ ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَلْ مُؤَدَّاةٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ حَبَّانُ خَالُ هِلَالٍ الرَّأْيِ.

Urdu Translation

یعلیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: جب تمہارے پاس میرے فرستادہ پہنچیں تو انہیں تیس زرہیں اور تیس اونٹ دے دینا میں نے کہا: کیا اس عاریت کے طور پر دوں جس کا ضمان لازم آتا ہے یا اس عاریت کے طور پر جو مالک کو واپس دلائی جاتی ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مالک کو واپس دلائی جانے والی عاریت کے طور پر ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: حبان ہلال الرائی کے ماموں ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Yala ibn Umayyah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to me: When my messengers come to you, give them thirty coats of mail, and thirty camels. I asked: Messenger of Allah, is it a loan with a guarantee of its return, or a loan to be paid back? He replied: It is a loan to be paid back.
