Sunan Abu Dawood 913 - Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ فَاشْتَدَّ قَوْلُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَّ أَبْصَارُهُمْ .

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان لوگوں کا کیا حال ہے جو نماز میں اپنی نگاہیں آسمان کی طرف اٹھاتے ہیں؟ ، پھر اس سلسلہ میں آپ نے بڑی سخت بات کہی، اور فرمایا: لوگ اس سے باز آ جائیں ورنہ ان کی نگاہیں اچک لی جائیں گی ۔

English Translation

Anas bin Malik reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم assaying: What is the matter that people raise their (Upwards) in prayer. He then said sternly: They should stop doing that, otherwise their sight will be snatched away.
